Following implementation of Immigration Act 2014, the number of cases where the applicant is granted right of appeal have been significantly reduced.

If you are given right of appeal against the refusal of your application for entry clearance (visa), you can appeal against the immigration decision of the Entry Clearance Officer within 28 days of the receipt of the refusal letter. The Notice of appeal should be submitted to the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in the UK where an Immigration Judge will hear the appeal. The Immigration Judge at the First Tier Tribunal has the power to allow or dismiss the appeal.
